As previously mentioned, another explosion has occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant on Monday morning, injuring 11 people. The explosion at the plant's No. 3 reactor was caused by a hydrogen buildup, which was so powerful that is has also damaged the function of the cooling system at nearby reactor No.2. Officials are now trying to control the damage at reactors 1-3 in a desperate effort to avoid a nuclear meltdown.

In Tokyo, people have been remaining indoors out of fear that they will be exposed to the radiation emitted from the Fukushima plant. Transportation to and from the capital is also still largely compromised. CNN GO reports that the situation in Tokyo is looking increasingly worrisome, as supermarkets are running out of food and the capital tries to save energy by shutting down electricity every few hours.
